Artist Application Form
Resident artist and Artblock founder ,Diana Shepherd & Park Manager Michael McNaught manage the programme which is now in its fifth year. We are open to all forms of creative activity, most particularly those that are in some way harmonious with the environment or heritage of the park.

The residencies are often for the duration of a month although we are happy to consider longer or shorter.

Diana is happy to work in the Orangery if, for example, the artist wishes to develop work which has not yet been created o r they would like additional support. The artist/s would also have the option to take over the space entirely.

There is no charge on either side of the exchange. In return for the use of the Orangery we would discuss ways in which the artist/s would give back to the community. This could be open studios or specific workshops to the value of half a day per week of residency.

If you would like to apply to become an Artist in Residence at the Derby Arboretum, please complete and send the following form.
